Ingredients:
Thick Poha (getti aval) – 1 cup
Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
Mixed Vegetables (Carrot, Beans, Peas) – 1 to 1 and 1/2 Cup
salt to taste
Oil – 2 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1/4 teaspoon
Urad dhal – 1 teaspoon
Bengal Gram Dhal (channa dhal )- 1teaspoon
Green chillies – 1 or 2 per taste
curry leaves & coriander leaves – for garnishing.
Kollu Podi – 2 tablespoon
Method:
Wash Aval (poha) nicely and soak it in water for 5 minutes.
Drain it after it becomes soft and keep it aside for at least 30 mins.
Heat Kada when it is hot add oil. When oil is hot add mustard seeds
When splutter add urad dhal, Bengal Gram dhal, Green chillies and fry till dhals are brown
Add onion and saute for couple of minutes.
Now add the other vegetables one by one and let it cook few 3 to 5 minutes.
When the vegetable becomes tender, add the drained Aval (poha), add required amount of salt. Add Kollu Podi and mix everything well. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
