These days my first son likes spicy food. Being born and brought up in Singapore both of my kids has liking towards local food. I also love the fried rice. This recipe is perfect for quick weekend meal. It present itself with tons of opportunities to customize to your taste and needs. I have added vegetables and Tofu to make it whole meal.

Soya sauce – 2 teaspoon
Mixed vegetable – 1/2 cup ( I have used only beans and carrot)

Method

Cut the tofu into 1/2 inch cube. Show fry tofu and keep it aside. Heat the pan and add oil. When it is hot add garlic and fry till brown in color. Add onion and fry till transparent. Add grinded paste and fry till raw smell goes of completely.

Add beans and carrot and fry till they are cooked. Make sure the vegetables are still crisp. Add Soya sauce, salt, Fried tofu and Pepper powder if adding. Mix well. Now add cooked rice and mix well. Fry in the medium high flame for about 2-3 mins. Add spring onion and mix well. Switch it off

We are the same; we love spicy food. In fact its a must almost everyday; some sort of spiciness into our meals. Nasi Goreng? oh yes, another typical meal over here. Its a beautiful veg version.
