My micorwave got spoiled for the last couple of months. With a busy schedule at work / travel I couldn’t really look for new one. Esp I wanted to do a little bit of research before buying new one as my last purchase didn’t turn out be good. Also I have a fixed slot for a microwave (yes I have size restriction) Finally I brought my new one during May long holidays. First thing I wanted to see is its baking results. My son was asking for cookies for quite sometime. So I have decided to try out White chocolate chip cookies. Merry Christmas to all the readers!
Ingredients
Whole wheat flour / Atta – 1/2 cup
All purpose flour – 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoon (if required)
Unsalted butter – 1/2 cup
Salt – A pinch
brown sugar – 1/4 cup
white sugar – 1/4 cup
baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Vanilla essence – 1 teaspoon
White choco chips – 1/2 cup
Method:
Sieve Wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt and baking powder (twice). Keep it aside
Cream sugar and room temperature butter.
Add vanilla essence and whip again. Add flour and make a soft dough. If the dough is too watery add reserved 2 tablespoon of flour.
Add Choco chips and fold it well
Leave it in fridge for 30 mins. Roll the dough into 1/2 inch thick disc. Using your favourite shape cookie cutter make cookies
Arrange it in baked tray. Pre heat the oven at 180 degree C. And Bake the cookies for 7-9 mins. Mine was done in 7 mins. or till sides are browned. Let it cool down completely
Store it in air tight container and enjoy it!
