Cooked Brown Rice – 1 cup
White Ellu (Sesame seeds)– 5 teaspoons
Red chilly – 4 to 5
Urad dhal – 3 teaspoons
Asafotida – ¼ teaspoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon or as per taste
Mustard Seeds – 1 teaspoon
Curry Leaves – 1 string
dry rosated Ground Nut – 1 tablespoon
Gingerly Oil – 3 teaspoon
Method:
Heat up a kadai and dry roast the Ellu seeds (also known as sesame seeds ) without adding oil. Remove it.
In the same kadai dry roast 2 teaspoon of Urad dhal, red chillies and asafetida.
Cool it and powder it along with fried Ellu and salt.
When you run mixie make sure you do it with short runs to avoid getting oil out of it
Put the cooked brown rice in a broad vessel and add required til powder along with few drops of oil.

Heat the kada add oil
When Oil is hot add mustard seeds
when mustard seeds start to splutter add 1 teaspoon of urad dal and curry leaves. Fry till brown.
Add this to rice
Add Groud nuts to rice
Mix thoroughly and serve.

Note: You can make Ellu podi and keep it and mix it whenever needed. I keep it in air tight container and store it fridge
