Cauliflower Tofu Rice – Healthy Tofu recipes – breakfast, lunch, dinner recipes – low carb, high protein dish

This is one of my favourite low carb and high protein dishes. I do this so frequently that every time I think of taking photos, I do it. Finally, I made a point of taking pictures (especially after I shared this recipe with a couple of people who loved it and told me that they had searched the blog but couldn’t find it). so I decided to do it) I posted this with Tofu, but if you don’t have tofu, Paneer will suffice. If you’re using paneer, reduce the amount and increase the green chilies.

 

Ingredients:

 

 



Grated Cauliflower – 2 cup
Grated Tofu – 3/4 cup
Small onion – 7-10 (slice it)
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Green chillies – 2 (chopped finely)
Oil- 2 teaspoon
mustard seeds – 1/4 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Urad dhal – 1 teaspoon
Bengal gram dal – 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves – 10 leaves
salt to taste
Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)

 

 



Method:



Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. Let it pop. Add urad dal, bengal gram, green chillies and curry leaves. Fry till brown color. Add onion and fry till transparent

Add cauliflower, Tofu, Turmeric powder & Salt and close it with lid and cook for 5 mins at low flame. Increase flame and cook for another 2 mins. Switch it off. Add Coriander leaves.
