Almonds – 70g
Oil for deep frying
Method:
Soak almonds in hot water for 30 mins. Remove skin
Grind to smooth paste with peeled garlic.
Take rest of the ingredients except oil in a broader vessel. Add almond paste
Add water little by little and make a smooth dough. Now take a murukku presser. use your favourite plate. Fill in presser with dough. On a clean kitchen tissue press murukku
And Heat the oil in a curved pan. When the oil is hot add pressed murukku one by one. You hv to slide each murkku slowly one by one by side of the pan. Make sure you leave enough place for murukku to move around. Cook Murukkus at medium flame till “Shhhh” sound subside. Turn the murukku few times while cooking
Drain the extra oil and take the murukku out of the oil and leave it on kitchen tissue to drain extra oil
