Barley Dosa – Barley pancake – Simple healthy breakfast recipe – Simple healthy dinner recipe

I love Barley grain.. I do Barley drinks more often and I have posted few recipes in my space. Water chestnut with barley, Barley lemon water are some e.g. I also love Barley adai because it is very crisp and tasty. This time I wanted to try dosa. It came out perfect. It is healthy too
Ingredients:


Barley – 1 and 3/4 cup
Rice – 1 and 1/4 cup
Urad dhal – 3/4 cup
Fenugreek seeds – 1/8 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Oil to cook dosa



Method:


Wash and soak barley, rice, Urad dhal and fenugreek seeds together for 7-9 hours

Grind it till smooth batter. Add Salt and grind for another 2 mins.

Remove it and let it ferment it. Heat the flat pan and when it is hot enough take a laddle full of dough and spread it in circular motion starting from center. Drizzle oil around it. Cook it till golden brown. When it is cooked fold it and take it out.

Enjoy the healthy dosa
