Bell Pepper Tofu Wrap

Wrap.. it is easy bruch item for the weekends. My kids love it. Normally I do broccoli or vegetable wrap. This weekend wanted to try more healthier version and yet rich in protein so decided to try out the bell pepper Tofu wrap. Everyone loved the wrap

Ingredients:


Bell peppers – 2 ( I have used yellow and red)
Onion – 1 slice thinly
Firm Tofu – 3 medium size block (sliced into thin slice)
Salt to taste
Lettuce – few leaves
Avocado paste – 1 teaspoon per wrap
Wrap – as many you need ( for our family it is ~2 per person)
Oil – 3 teaspoon
Tomato Sauce – 1/2 teaspoon per wrap (optional)
cucumber – 1 per wrap (I have used small)

Method:
Marinate Tofu with salt, kollu powder and turmeric powder for 30 mins. Keep it aside. Head pan and add 1 teaspoon of oil and add sliced capsicum and fry till it is cooked but still crisp. Keep it aside. Then add 1 teaspoon and onion and fry till it is transparent. Add rest of the oil and and add tofu and let it cook till each side is slightly brown. Keep all the ingredients ready.

Heat the flat tawa/pan and put wrap and heat it for 10 sec and flip over. Spread the avocado paste. Arrange bell pepper, onion, tofu, lettuce. Add tomato sauce if adding. and roll it serve hot

serve hot
