Cauliflower 65, Cauliflower fry, Gobi 65

My kids love any 65 dish who doesn’t right? Unless you are dieting or very strict calorie counting. This is something we order quite often for starter when we go out for a meal ( these days kids prefer homemade dishes). Some of the dishes disappear fast. This is one of them. I normally do it after marinated. But you don’t have time to marinate it’s fine to. Just make sure you don’t overcook the cauliflower.
Ingredients:

Cauliflower  – 100 g (split into flowerets)
Rice flour – 1 teaspoon
Corn flour – 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder  – a pinch
Garam masala powder – 1/4 powder
Curd or yogurt – 1 tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 teaspoon
Garam flour (Kadalai Mavu) – 1 teaspoon
Soya sauce – 2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

Method:
Boil the water and add the cauliflower flowerets and cook it partially (~ 15 mins). Drain the water. Keep it aside

In a deep curved mixing bowl Add all the ingredients except oil and cauliflower. Mix well. Add Cooked cauliflower and mix well. Let it sit for 30 mins

Heat the oil in curved kada. When it is hot add marinated cauliflower. Make sure you have enough space in the kada. Don’t put too much in one batch. When it is cooked drain the oil and let it sit on kitchen towel to get drain the excess oil.

Serve hot with chutney or sauce
