Jini Dosa – Mumbai Street food

Dosa is one of the most favourite food for my husband so he can eat almost everyday. When we had our holiday in Dubai almost everyday we ended up with Dosa Plaza for one meal. We loved pretty much all the variety we have tried. I have pictured their menu as there were so many different variety. When I returned I tried few but not able to finish the draft. Finally I got to it.  My son loved it to the core!
Ingredients:

Dosa Batter – 1/2 cup
Capsicum (green) – 1 tablespoon (for 2 dosa)
Cabbage – 1 tablespoon (for 2 dosa)
Onion – 1 tablespoon (for 2 dosa)
Cheese – 1 tablespoon (for 2 dosa)
Pav bhaji masala – 1/2 teaspoon (for 2 dosa)
schezwan sauce – 1 teaspoon (for 2 dosa. Adjust to your spice level)
Tomato Sauce – 4 teaspoon (for 2 dosa)
Grated cheese – 2 tablespoon (for 2 dosa)
Spring onion – 1 tablespoon (for 2 dosa)
Butter – 1 tablespoon (for 2 dosa)

Method:

Heat dosa pan and take a full laddle of batter and spread it. Apply 1/2 teaspoon butter let it cook it for a min

Add Onion, cabbage, capsicum, schezwan sauce, tomato sauce, pav bhaji masala, butter and required salt (I didn’t add salt as sauce salt was good enough for me) mix well and spread it. Add cheese, spring onion. Cook in very low flame

Once done cut it and roll it (as in video)

Serve hot

Coming to your blog after some time and good to see some updates… 🙂 It looks nice… Dosa Plaza is no longer here, they closed down all their branches late last year… Hearing of Jini Dosa for the first time, and looking at it, so delicious! Must try this from somehwere and cook it myself… 🙂
