Kollu (horse gram) Kanji (Porridge)

This is one of my favorite from childhood. I love the taste and smell Kollu. It is so easy to make and good for health. It goes very well with Coconut Thuvaiyal. But after kids it has become the dish I make only if anyone has cold/flu.


Ingredients:


Rice – 1 Cup
horse gram / Kollu – 1 Cup
Salt per taste



Method:


Fry Rice, Kollu separately till nice smell comes
Pressure cook with enough water (2 whistle)
