Korean Corn Pancake

This is yet another dish I tried when I was in China few months back. After trying once I kept going back to it. Even though it is called pancake I had this for lunch. It is very yummy. Other day while I was at fairprice for weekly shopping I saw this Korean pancake mix. Immediately I remembered the pancake I had in China. I grabbed it.  It came out pretty well

Ingredients
Korean Pancake flour – 1 cup
Water – 1.5 cups
Cooked Corn – 2 cup
Cut spring onions – 1/4 cup
oil / butter – to cook ( I have used non stick oil)

Method
Mix all the ingredients under pancake section. Heat the flat thawa. Spray non stick oil on it. If you don’t have just apply cooking oil). Pour the batter into thin pancake. Spread to the edges of the pan. Cook till  the bottom is cooked  and turn to golden brown.  Turn it over and continue cooking until the other side is golden, about 5-6 minutes.

Serve with sauce. I also made Avocado salasa to go with it

Alternatively you can mix yourself.. I got it from my friend I haven't tried myself but she has done it many times
3 cup wheat flour /All purpose flour
      2 tablespoon Rice flour
      2 Tbs cornstarch
      2 tsp sugar
      1 tsp baking powder
      1 tsp baking soda
      2 tsp onion powder
      1 tsp garlic powder
      1 tsp salt

Mix all till it is fully mixed and add water to make it to batter. Leave it aside for 30 to 1 hour before you make. Worst case you can go with pancake mix and add Onion and garlic powder to make savoury type
