Masala Bread Toast (Vegetarian French Toast)

Weekend is time to try something new. Most of the time I try something without bread (break from bread ) But this week I run out of all the options on top of that I got up late. It has been ages since I did French toast for my hubby and first son. I am pure vegetarian and my 2nd son is allergic to egg. So decided to do vegetarian toast.

Ingredients:

Besan Flour – 3 tablespoon
Rice Flour – 1 tablespoon
Onion – 2 tablespoon finely chopped
Tomato – 1 finely chopped ( I have it as big piece as my 2nd son don’t like it and easy to take it out for him)
Chilli Powder – 1 teaspoon
Bread – 2 ( I have used brown bread)
Asafetida a pinch
Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoon finely chopped

Method:

1. Mix all the Ingredients with water and make a paste

2. Heat flat tawa. Apply the butter.Apply the paste on top of bread. Put the bread on the tawa with the paste side down

3. Turn it over when cooked and apply the paste on the other side. Let it cooked
4. Serve hot with Green Chutney and Sweet Chutney
