I love anything with nuts. My mum does ellu urndai pretty well. I wanted to try this for quite sometime. This is very simple and tasty recipe. It is healthy too (if you consider Jaggery healthy) Why don’t you try this for this festive season.. This can be done even last min and has only 3 ingredients.
Ingredients:
Sesame seeds – 1 cup
Jaggery – 3/4 cup
Salt a pinch
Idiyappam flour – 1/4 cup
Method
Dry roast Sesame seeds till it is slight brown color. Let it cool down
Mix everything in the blendar (reserve about 2 tablespoon of sesame seeds) / food processor grind till it all comes together
Take 1.5 tablespoon of flour and roll them into ball.
Store it in air tight container and enjoy!
