Cook the sweet potato with salt and mash it. Add oats and mix well

Add all other ingredients except oil. Make tight dough. Make small balls.

Make small balls. You can either bake it or fry it in kuzhi paniyaram. I have used kuzhi paniyaram pan. For that add 1/8 spoon of oil in each spot. Place the balls

Cook till it is brown and turn it over.  And cook on the other side . Remove it and keep it aside. Repeat the process till all the dough is done

For baking apply oil around the ball and bake till it is brown in color

Gravy:

Heat the pan and add 2 teaspoon of oil. Add garlic and ginger. Fry till it is brown in color. Add onion and fry till transparent. Add tomatoes and fry till mushy. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, Coriander powder, Subji masala.

Fry till raw smell released. Add roasted peanut, sesame seeds. Switch it off and let it cool down. Grind to smooth paste.Heat the pan and add 1 teaspoon of oil and add cumin seeds and let it crackle.

Add 2- 3 cups of water with required salt. Let it boil.Add kofta and let boil to desired consistency.

wow! nice one and loved the idea of making koftas in paniyaram pan. I usually avoid making this because of deep frying.. nice idea..
