Valaipoo Methi Poriyal – Side Dish Recipe

We try to order either Valai thandu / plantain flower regularly if not every week at least every other week. Valaipoo I normally make poriyal or biryani. Another easy way to incorporate it into kids’ diets is vadai. After making vadai I had some leftover so decided to make Valaipoo methi poriyal I was worried about the outcome because both have little bitter taste. But with the addition of coconut & onion, it turned out to be good. Do try out this healthy, simple stir fry. It goes well with rice.
