White Sauce Pasta

My 1st son is big fan of Italian food. I have posted white sauce bread sandwich sometime ago. My kids were asking for white sauce pasta after that. So I did 2 times however couldn’t do final shots due to bad lights. Finally I managed to take pics… Every time I make this kids would finish the dinner very fast. This can be served as after school snacks
Ingredients:

Mixed vegetables – 2 cups (I have used carrot, beans and cauliflower)
Green bell pepper – 1/4 cup ( 1/2 of small bell pepper)
Onion – 1/4 cup (Optional.  I didn’t use)
Milk  – 350 ml
Pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
Dried Oregano – 1/2 teaspoon
Mixed Italian herb mix – 1/4 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)
Butter – 1 tablespoon
Grated cheese – 2 tablespoon (I have used Mozzarella and cheddar)
all purpose flour – 1 tablespoon
Red chilli flakes – 1/4 teaspoon

Method:

Cook the vegetables with little salt and keep it aside. Add butter in the pan and add flour. Fry till nice aroma comes.
Add milk and let it boil. Add oregano, pepper powder, red chilli flakes and Italian herb and mix well.

Add cooked vegetables mix well. Add cheese and cook till desired consistency

Cook the pasta per instruction on the pack. Add cooked pasta to white sauce and mix well

Add coriander leaves and mix well.

Serve it hot as Dinner / snack
