Zucchini Chutney (thogayal)

Couple of weeks ago I tried out the Zhucchini Chutney at my friends place. I liked it lot. But forgot to get recipe. I had couple of  Zhucchini in the fridge and wanted to try out something for idli. I was roughly guessing the ingredients for the chutney I had and tried out.. It came out wonderful
Ingredients:


Zucchini – 2 ( remove the ends and cut the Zucchini into little pieces with skin)

Bengal Gram dhal (chana Dhal) – 2 tablespoon
Urad Dhal – 4 tablesppon
Red chilli – 2-3
Green Chillies – 2-3
Currly leaves – 10
Oil – 2 teaspoon
Tomatoes – 2 medium size
Salt per taste
Garlic – 5-7 pods

Method:


Heat the kada and heat 1 teaspoon of oil. Roast dhals one by one in medium heat till they are slight brown.Add Garlic, Chillies and fry till it is brown in color

Add Tomatoes and curry leaves and fry till tomatoes are mushy. Add Zucchini and tomatoes. Fry till Zucchini is cooked. switch it off and let it cool down.

Transfer the Zucchini, tomatoes, roasted dhals and chillies into a mixie or blendar and grind to a smooth paste

Serve with idlies / Dosa / Chapathi / Roti /Bread
