Kids love pasta. I have added soya granules into tomato pasta sauce. They really enjoyed it. It is one of the easy way to make the kids meal more healthy. If you don’t get granules use meal maker and grind it after cooked into coarse paste.
Ingredients
Onion – 1 (chopped finely)
Tomatoes – 5-7 (chopped finely)
Chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to your spice level)
Garlic – 8-10 pods
Soya Granules – 1 cup
Pasta – 300 g ( I have used the thin one)
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon (Finely chopped)
Oil – 3 teaspoon
Italian mixed spices – 1/2 teaspoon
Walnut – 1 teaspoon
Method
Cook the Pasta as per instruction in the pack. Keep it aside. Take the soya granules in a bowl and add boiling water. Let it cool and squeeze the water completely. keep it aside
Heat 2 teaspoon of oil. Addd about 4 garlic and onion fry till transparent. Add tomatoes. Fry till mushy. Switch off and let it cool down. When it cools down grind it to smooth paste together with walnuts.
Heat the pan with rest of the oil. Add rest of garlic and fry till brown color. Add grinded paste and mix well. Add red chilli powder, Italian spices and salt. Mix well. Let it boil. Add soya granules and let it cook for another 2 mins. Add cooked pasta and mix well. Switch it off. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
Serve hot
